CRAIG BILL
Edge of a Dream
FL3429
I wanted a little different shot of this Grand Canyon overlook again. What did that mean? It meant that I scaled down part of the cliffs where some other photographers refused not try - and advised that I should not go. But I had been here before and planned out this shot with a lighted tent at night. It was getting dark, but this was the time of day that I needed for this shot - the afterglow of the well past sunset. The real challenge ended up being the wind moving the tent around during the long exposures. But with a little patience, I was able to get the shot that turned out very close to how I had imagined it would look like. The constellation Scorpious is enhanced in the sky above.
