Ghost Valley
SP303
Wahweep Hoodoos, Utah USA
Crossing over into the Utah border from Arizona to explore the white mysterious hoodoos of what became known to me as the "Ghost Valley", might seem like a nice flat hike. Well, it was, but 10 miles of soft sandy wash area. But when I did find this relatively small nook, it was worth it. I always think of geological structures like this as centuries long elevators for the top rocks to ride down. Super fragile and unique, these white pillars featured subtle green colors unlike anything I had seen along the hike to or from here. Although I forgot all my camera filters there, I was not going to hike all the way back...
